Studio Kathryn Larsen was a finalist in the Montana Showroom competition for 3daysofdesign. The proposal, named ‘Atarashii Arbejdsplads’, capitalized on color trends and Japandi design.

Exhibition Stories

Studio Kathryn Larsen was invited to design a selfie-wall exhibition for the UIA World Congress, to represent the next generation of young, Danish architects. The selfie wall was made out of our own seaweed-based bioplastics and paints in-house, all 100% biobased and biodegradable. The back of the installation functioned as a pop-up library, featuring our in-house material science and innovation projects.

Renovation Stories

When the owner of an andelsbolig in the center of Frederiksberg purchased their apartment, the only shower was located in the middle of the kitchen. The architects at Studio Kathryn Larsen designed a completely new kitchen and bathroom for this 120-year-old apartment, saving the client time and money.
